Tactical First Aid Training Mannikins for Front-Line Medics

Following a request from the tactical first aid training group of the Alpha-Bravo Club in Kyiv in January 2023, we are pleased to report that we were able to source and send two used Laerdal full body medical simulation training mannikins that are already helping to save lives.

The donated mannikins are being used to train new front-line medics and first responders to support the practice of critical thinking, clinical diagnosis and interprofessional team training in emergency care and trauma situations.

We would like to sincerely thank Teresa Lachowicz and Rotary Donations in Kind West Footscray for sourcing the mannikins free of charge, along with some spare parts and full carrying cases. We were able to send two of these invaluable training resources at a fraction of the cost of purchasing one new Laerdal patient simulator.
