  • Christmas Gift Campaign 2023

    Thanks to the incredible support of our donor community, we were able to gift a moment of happiness to 130 seriously ill children in the oncology ward of the Western Ukrainian Specialised Children’s Medical Centre in Lviv, Ukraine.

    Moments like these truly inspire and motivate children to keep fighting their own battles in a war-torn country.

    - Every gift contained only Ukrainian-made products.

    - Every child now has an opportunity to select two books they like from a local publisher.

    The engaging atmosphere has highlighted the importance of unity, happiness, and a simple smile to keep moving forward.

  • 120 Bone Fixators Delivered to Dnipro Front-line Hospital in November 2023

    As part of USF Australia’s ongoing Bone Fixator project, an additional 120 bone fixation devices were delivered to the Dnipro Military Hospital in November 2023 (totalling 180 devices this year!)

    These fixators are manufactured in Ukraine, supporting the local economy and help to save injured limbs from amputation.

    The project was made possible thanks to 2023 Melbourne Marathon, Sydney Marathon and City2Surf runners, who were very dedicated to fundraise and to gift a chance for injured Ukrainians to save their limbs.

    A little kindness goes a long way and changes the quality of life for others!

  • Tactical First Aid Training for front-line Medics recieved in June 2023

    Two First Aid training manikins are now serving their purpose at the tactical first aid training unit in Kyiv.

    We’d like to thank Teresa Lachowicz and Rotary Donations in Kind West Footscray for helping us with sourcing and logistics.

  • Urgent Medical Supplies for front-line Hospitals

    Supporting the specific shortfall requirements of front-line hospitals in Ukraine, USF Australia sourced and sent surgical blades, chest seals, tourniquets, chest decompression needles, sutures and surgical antiseptics to Dnipro in Eastern Ukraine during March 2023.

    Hospitals in Victoria have been absolutely incredible in supporting our mission by donating much needed medical supplies and we are eternally grateful for their ongoing contributions!

  • Non-lethal protective equipment for Ukraine Defence Forces

    Thanks to our generous donors, we sourced and donated non-lethal protective equipment to a unit of the Defence Forces of Ukraine in November 2022.

    Equipment included Australian-made ballistic helmets, thermal clothes, back-packs and sleeping bags.

    The unit was comprised of civilian conscripts without the necessary resources to appropriately equip themselves over the winter months on the front line.

  • Medical Aid for First Lviv Medical Association

    From August to September 2022, USF Australia sourced, sorted, packed and sent 6 pallets worth of critical medical aid to the First Lviv Medical Association, which oversees two public hospitals and one children’s hospital in Lviv.

    A huge thanks to Austin Health, Rotary Donations in Kind and individual donors and volunteers for their invaluable assistance.
