120 Bone Fixators delivered to a front-line Hospital

As part of USF Australia’s ongoing Bone Fixator project, an additional 120 orthopaedic bone fixation devices were delivered to the Military Medical Clinical Centre of the Eastern region of Ukraine in Dnipro during November 2023 (totalling 180 devices supplied this year!)

These fixators are manufactured in Ukraine, supporting the local economy and help to save injured limbs from amputation.

The project was made possible thanks to phenomenal efforts of the 2023 Melbourne Marathon, Sydney Marathon and City2Surf runners, who were very dedicated to fundraise and to gift a chance for injured Ukrainians to save their limbs.

A little kindness goes a long way and changes the quality of life for others!

We thank our donors for their immeasurable support and look forward to continuing this project in 2024!
