300 Bone Fixating Devices delivered to Kharkiv Hospital

As part of USF Australia’s ongoing Bone Fixator project, we are thrilled to inform you that 300 Bone Fixating Devices have now been delivered to Kharkiv Hospital, which is the largest order of bone fixators that we have placed to date!

These life-saving devices are expertly crafted in Mukachevo, a city in western Ukraine, by the Ukrainian orthopaedic device manufacturer HB Ortho. As we rally behind this cause, we’re not just saving limbs; we’re bolstering the Ukrainian economy.

Through our tested supply chains, we are proud to ensure and certify end-to-end aid delivery without any intermediaries, so that all aid reaches the intended beneficiaries all the time.

Pricing for these devices begins at just $53 USD, varying with the size required to mend the injured bone.

Our mission is clear: to ensure that no one faces amputation when there’s hope, and help, at hand.

Thank you to our donors for making this possible! Together, we have helped address yet another shortage of lifesaving supplies!

These fixators are manufactured in Ukraine, supporting the local economy and help to save injured limbs from amputation.

The project was made possible thanks to phenomenal efforts of the 2023 Melbourne Marathon, Sydney Marathon and City2Surf runners, who were very dedicated to fundraise and to gift a chance for injured Ukrainians to save their limbs.

A little kindness goes a long way and changes the quality of life for others!

We thank our donors for their immeasurable support and look forward to continuing this project throughout 2024!
